And there may be no better place to experience Red Sox Nation West than Sonny McLean's, an Irish pub in Santa Monica, Calif., that sent a busload of 250 fans to Dodger Stadium when the Sox were there in June, and another 150 fans last week to Anaheim Stadium, where they created such a commotion that even the Angels were watching from the dugout. Pub owner Jim Conners has his roots in Mansfield and Foxborough, and Sox owner Tom Werner drops in regularly to watch the team on TV there; he even brought Henry in for a visit during the Sox-Dodgers series.
